Big things are happening in Mayberry! With El Paso County’s final approval of the revised overall Village Sketch Plan—an initiative that has been in process for several years—and the related permit approvals, combined with substantial funding secured by Mayberry Communities, LLC, and the Metro Districts (dependent on this approval), our community is entering an exciting new phase of growth and enhancement that will allow the majority of the entrance including parks to be built together with additional improvements to Highway 94.

This year promises to be one to remember for both current residents and future homeowners alike.

Get ready to enjoy new recreational features, community amenities, and neighborhood upgrades. Here's what you can expect:

Launching in September:

• Cattlemen Run Trail – A scenic walking trail, perfect for strolls, jogs, or simply enjoying the fresh air, is also scheduled to be completed before the end of June.

  • 8/1 Update: Final shaping and plantings are anticipated to be underway in September.

• Garden Park – A brand-new dog park designed just for our four-legged friends to play and socialize.

  • 8/1 Update: We’ve received valuable feedback from residents regarding the proposed dog park at Garden Park. In response, we developed two revised design options—one includes a dog park with two off-leash areas, and the other replaces the dog park with additional lawn space and perimeter landscaping. We ran a short community survey, which will help guide the final decision before construction begins. This survey ended on August 15th. Results and any changes will be announced shortly.

  • 10/1 Update: We are excited to share that Garden Park is projected to be completed prior to Halloween. While extreme weather or rain could cause slight delays, progress is being made and we can’t wait for residents to enjoy this beautiful new space soon.

• Griffith Park – An enhanced park space ideal for family outings and neighborly gatherings, with anticipated completion summer of 2026.

• New Duplex Development – We're expanding housing options in Mayberry with modern, thoughtfully designed duplex that will provide housing entrances fronting Mayberry Drive, Village Main Street, and Marketplace Drive, with access to the garages from the interior of the first floor.

• Pickleball Park and Concession – Get ready for some friendly competition at Pickleball Park, which will feature twelve dedicated courts for one of America’s fastest-growing sports. Designed bring together all age groups and skill levels.
